Packers Bills Game Review

I am a big fan of the show the Twilight Zone that ran in the fifties and sixties. For some of you who don’t know what the show was about I’ll fill you in. It’s a show about strange things that happen to normal people. One episode was about a guy who takes train ride home from work and winds up back in the early 1800’s. The guy tries to figure out what’s going on, and then he discovers he traveled through time. I won’t spoil it for you if you curious what happens to the guy.  That’s how I felt watching the Bills and Packers play. It was like the Bills of the 90s, you know the team that went to four straight Super bowls. The Packers were playing like they were in the early 90’s. A pretty good team but not enough talent to win.

Well that’s not the case the Packers have more talent than the Bills, maybe the Bills have more talent on defense. I watched the lowlights and still cannot believe what happened. Let’s give out game balls. Yes, there were some earned.

  1. Eddie Lacy-  He gashed the Bills defense. Why we stopped running? You got me? Sometimes I think McCarthy believes Rodgers will snap out of it. McCarthy is a victim of Rodgers success, who can blame him? McCarthy should have seen Rodgers was having an off day and taken the pressure off him by running.
  2. Clay Matthews- two sacks, dropped a runner for a loss, and was active all day in Orton’s face.
  3. Tramon Williams- interception and looked much better in coverage.

Deflated game balls-

  1. Special teams- This is becoming a joke. Six blocked kicks! How is that even possible? The average kicker who kicks for twenty years may not even have that much. The punt return for a touchdown. Give me a break. Fire Slocum now!
  2. Julius Peppers- If someone has seen the early season version of Peppers please tell the Packers coaching staff. Peppers was blocked out of a play by a Bills receiver on a running play. If the Packers coaching staff needs to rest Peppers do it now. We need him for the playoffs.
  3. Rodgers and Nelson- What happened? Did they have a fight before the game? They were completely awful. How can Nelson drop a pass he catches in  his sleep? Hopefully, they put it  behind them.

This better been a freak occurrence. We go to Tampa who is so bad? How bad are they? They can’t even beat the Panthers. By the way Rodgers never has won in Tampa just like he has never won in Buffalo.
