Rookie safety Morgan Burnett done for 2010 with a torn ACL

The Packers have lost rookie safety Morgan Burnett for the rest of the season with a torn ACL. Burnett was a starter for the club after being their third-round pick in the April draft from Georgia Tech.

Burnett had 14 tackles and an interception prior to his injury, which occurred during the second quarter of the Packers’ 28-26 win on Sunday.

Veteran Derrick Martin replaced Burnett. The team may also give a look to Charlie Peprah, but he was inactive on Sunday as he’s been dealing with a quadriceps injury.
