Word is Packers third-year CB Will Blackmon might miss the start of training camp because of his chronic foot injury, whereas veteran DE Kabeer-Gbaja Biamila has a much better shot at being fully recovered from his offseason knee surgery.

Defensive end Kabeer-Gbaja-Biamila underwent knee surgery on Thursday. It was arthroscopic surgery performed by team doctor Patrick McKenzie,aimed at solving pain, discomfort and swelling problems that popped up in the off-season workouts. Coach Mike McCarthy says he doesn’t expect KGB to return to practice until training camp, which starts July 28th.
