Packers Ink Center Corey Linsley to a Three-year, $25.5 Million Extension

The Packers have signed center Corey Linsley to a three-year, $25.5 million extension through 2020 according to the team’s Twitter account.

Linsley was one of the team’s offseason priorities along with wide receiver Davante Adams, who they locked down with a longterm deal on Friday. That said, Linsley is probably having the worst season of his four-year NFL career and has only graded out as the 23rd-ranked center in the league according to Pro Football Focus. With Linsley and Adams locked up, the Packers may focus their attention on Aaron Rodgers, who has two years left on his deal but is severely underpaid considering what he brings to the table and what top-line quarterbacks (like Matthew Stafford) are currently commanding on the market.
