Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers joined Evan Daniels of FOX Sports on his podcast Thursday to break down the NCAA tournament and how being overlooked coming out of high school drove him to be great.
Of course, Rodgers also was asked about the upcoming season, Aaron Nagler of USA Today Network-Wisconsin reports.
“We probably need a couple more pieces on defense before the season starts, but we’re going to be really tough to stop on offense,” Rodgers said of a unit that has added tight ends Martellus Bennett and Lance Kendricks. “(Coach) Mike (McCarthy) has a great system that’s ever evolving and changing, and I put my stamp on it once we get it down on paper.”
“It’s exciting, man. Green Bay Packers fans should be excited.”
