Buccaners Packers Game Review

I have to admit I am impressed with the Packers defense lately. I know the Packers faced two subpar quarterbacks. It’s not easy to keep any NFL quarterback from not throwing a touchdown. I hope the Packers are on the right track. We will need the defense big time in the playoffs. Rodgers calf injury will only get worse, unless he can rest it properly. That means not getting in a shootout with any of the teams they will face. Let’s give out game balls.

  1. Offensive line: the Buccaners swarmed to the ball all day. This defense is no joke. The offensive line, except for one sack took it to the Buccaners defense. I really like this offensive line, it reminds me of the one we had with Tauscher, Rivera, Wahle, Taylor. Not a great line, but it was a decent line and got nasty when it had too.
  2. Datone Jones: What? Yes, he made a play. He made a nice interception. I can wish that he will make more. Let’s pray he does.
  3. Nelson and Cobb: This dynamic duo will be hard to stop in the playoffs. If McCarthy is smart he’ll devise a Cobb package to decoy and run plays with. If the defense has to guess, it’s to late.
  4. Eddie Lacy: He looked fast in the game. Imagine speed and power.  This could be fun. Beast mode meet the new power in the NFL.

Deflated game balls:

  1. Davonte Adams: Catch the ball! He reminds me of Antonio Freeman. Throw it right to him and he drops it.
  2. Mason Crosby: You better be the good Crosby come playoff time. You know the guy who can hit a 52 yarder.
  3. AJ Hawk: It’s been nice knowing you.

Detroit is up next. Happy Holidays to all Packer Fans!
