Packer Saints Review

Green Bay Packers v New York Giants

Well, I am not relaxed anymore. I am concerned about the run defense, run game, and now Aaron Rodgers. This team needs to fix their issues and fast. The season is half over and the Packers still have no identity. Let’s look at the game the good, bad, and what were you thinking.

First the good, Aaron Rodgers still is the engine that drives the team, it was more than evident when Rodgers had his hamstring injury. When he had his injury the team went down the offense went with it. Let’s hope it’s not serious.

Second, the bad, the run defense, which is there no run defense. Ingram went through the Packer’s defense like they weren’t even there. The defense is not consistent enough to win a Super bowl right now. Dom Capers needs to fix this defense quick, the teams we could face in the playoffs.

The third, is Mike McCarthy and his play calling. Why would he do a onside kick so early on? If you’re trying to be aggressive that’s okay, but it’s a wise choice when it was evident the Saint’s defense couldn’t stop us anyway. I hope McCarthy rethinks his strategy. He has to know that his team is a not a team that cannot make mistakes. It doesn’t have a complete team to recover from mistakes.
