Week 14 Atlanta Green Bay

Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy

Green Bay and Atlanta. No Rodgers again this week. Rodgers is frustrated that he cannot play. There are no winners in this game. If Rodgers gets hurt and we lose the game, we lost Rodgers for more time and possibly into the future.

Back to the preview of the Game. Three things to watch.

  1. Eddie  Lacy vs. Atlanta’s defensive line: Atlanta’s defensive line is worse than      the Packers defensive line. That is saying a lot considering what the  Packers defensive line has been doing lately. Not only Lacy, but Starks      can make a difference.
  2. Matt  Flynn vs. Atlanta’s secondary- The secondary for Atlanta is bad and that      is being generous. Matt Flynn can get confidence if he establishes his rhythm      early in the game. If Lacy can wear down Atlanta’s defensive line it      should allow Flynn to have a good passing game.
  3. Packers  Defense: This game is the last time I say this regarding the defense. The defense has been a mess. Maybe, Rodgers can motivate the defense. It can get any  worse can it?

My final thoughts are that the Packers are a not going to win. I think it will be a hard fought game. In the end the Packers just don’t have enough fight left. Falcons 21-17 Packers.
