Review Detroit Green Bay

Green Bay Packers v Detroit Lions

Thoughts of Detroit and Green Bay. Usually there is a good and bad I try to put into these articles. There is no good about this game. The Packer defense looked terrible. All right they were pathetic. This is a game that will define this team, if they have any chance of making the playoffs.

The Bad: The defense has fallen apart. I’m not sure why this has happened. The line-backing corp looks terrible. Jones has no speed to cover tight ends, AJ Hawk makes a play but is to inconsistent, Matthews tries his best but with one hand, and
Neal looks too banged up to even make a difference anymore.

The defensive line has become a sieve. Jolly looks tired, Raji hasn’t played well since 2010, and Pickett is falling apart.

The secondary once the strength is now another weakness. Without Hayward it lacks a ball hawk. Shields still recovers from his hamstring, Tramon Williams is okay but no longer a difference maker. Our safety play with Burnett and Jennings is a terrible tandem. Richardson could be a player but he is still coming back from an injury.

The coaching has become a futile gesture with this team. The players are not executing on the field. I’m not sure if the message has become stale or the players are just to beat up. The rest of the season will tell if the coaches can get these players to step up and win a game.

The offensive line is just a patchwork line. Matt Flynn was a tackling dummy.
Aaron Rodgers is the heart and soul of the Packers. Brett Favre was the heart of soul of Packer. We remembered what happened with him. If the Packers intend to win another Super bowl they need another person to help them this team win.

I give the Packers a 0 out of 5 for this game. The Packers need to use this game
