Thoughts after week eleven New York and Green Bay. What in the name of Vince Lombardi is going on? Does Rodgers cover up all the blemishes on this team? If that’s true we got Rodgers cheap. Here are the good and bad of the game.
First the good: Scott Tolzein. I know he has thrown five interceptions in two games. He has a nice arm. His deep passes were on the mark. Tolzein looked comfortable in the pocket for his first NFL start.
The Bad: Scott Tolzein. His good qualities noted above are not enough to cover up his other issues. He needs to make decisions quicker. In the red zone he still needs to make the quick reads. The other glaring issue is that he cannot seem to read the defense properly. Jason Pierre Paul was a great play. Still, Tolzein has to recognize he was there.
The Good: Mason Crosby. I have to give him credit. It was a 57 yarder.
The Bad: The Secondary again. Tramon Williams did make a nice interception. Putting Micah Hyde on Victor Cruz? Is Shields that valuable? Morgan Burnett has regressed. A strength now is a weakness.
The Good: With all the injuries the Packers are still in it. I don’t know if that is really a good thing.
I give the Packers a 2 out of 5 for this game. Vikings are up next. The Packers have to WIN this game for a chance of making the playoffs.
