The Packers have placed Jermichael Finley on season-ending injured reserve.
The move wasn’t a shock considering the tight end’s injury. Finley suffered a spinal cord contusion in Green Bay’s Oct. 20 win over Cleveland. His long-term future in question, Finley has been staying positive.
After plenty of tests and opinions for the tight end these past two weeks, the Packers have shelved Finley for the season. His future with the Packers is in doubt in more ways than one. Finley is scheduled to be a free agent in the spring.
