Week Six Thoughts Cleveland and Green Bay

Thoughts after week six Cleveland and Green Bay. Watching Jermichael Finley on the ground was scary. It looks like he’ll be all right. Packer Nation wish him all the best.

Here is my review of the game.

First the good: The Packers defense was good enough to win. This defense is better than last year. It has nice depth on the defensive line, and secondary. The linebacking corps is doing well enough without Clay Matthews. Lattimore looks like the real deal. Davon House and Micah Hyde are a nice tandem. Tramon Williams seems to be back to his 2010 self.

The Bad: Dan Barclay is really slumping in the passing game. He is a liability in the passing game. Newhouse can be plugged in that spot. The only thing is Newhouse is a liability in the running game.

The Good: Edie Lacy is a tough back. We will need him in December when the passing game might bog down. I think is a good running back, if he can become a special back we will wait and see.

The Bad: Injuries. Enough said.

The Good: Rodgers is a special quarterback. He loses most of his weapons and still is able to make Jarrett Boykin look like an all pro. Rodgers scrambled for first downs, escaped sacks, and most importantly kept this team focused. A good leader is one who can his team motivated and focused. Keep calm and carry on.

I give the Packers a 4 out of 5 for this game. The next few weeks will test this team. Injuries are never easy to get over, the Packers need to see if their depth to carry them through. Minnesota is up next.
