Green Bay and Baltimore. This game could be the turning point for the Packers. The Packers can get over .500 this season. Then make the run they’ll need if they want to have a chance to win the NFC North for the third consecutive year.
Back to the preview of the Game. I’ll stick to my three things to watch.
1. Red zone offense: Rodgers has been amazing in the red zone. This year has been strange season so far this season. They are top five offense in the NFL. Yet, when the Packers get in the red zone they cannot execute. McCarthy and Rodgers seem off this year. Joe Philbin was the glue in this offense when it was clicking. With Philbin gone the offense is looks pedestrian at best.
2. Perry and Neal: Matthews is out three to four weeks. With a tough schedule coming up over the next few weeks. Perry can show the Packers why he was drafted in the first round. Last week’s game against Detroit he showed promise. Neal can be dominant force if he continues to develop within this defense, being this is first year at outside linebacker.
3. Johnathon Franklin: He can make a difference maker in this game. That is if he can hold onto the football. The field is perfect for Franklin’s speed. McCarthy can utilize his speed against Baltimore’s aggressive defense.
My final thoughts are that the Packers can win this game. The problem is they won’t. Baltimore 24-21 Packers.
