Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson

Green Bay and Cincinnati. This is a great matchup. The Bengals Defense versus the Packers offense. Just like the 80’s when San Francisco and Cincinnati matched up in their Super bowls. Hopefully, the Packers offense will be on top of their game.

Back to the preview of the Game. Three things to watch.

1. Packers offense vs. Cincinnati defense: I said last week that if the Packers get their running game going it will be a huge lift to the offense. I would have never expected it would be James Starks. The Bengals have a great defensive line. Atkins is their stud on the line. If the Packers offensive line can keep Atkins under control. The Packers offense will have a nice game.

2. Linebackers: The linebacking corps need to step up this week. Perry has to start earning his money. Perry still looks lost and slow. Jones also looks slow. AJ Hawk is still AJ Hawk. Matthews didn’t have a great game last week.

3. Coaching: McCarthy can use this game to show he is one top coaches in the NFL. The Bengals and Packers are evenly matched. Except for the Quarterback. McCarthy needs to be on his game. He is dealing with injuries. So is everyone else in the NFL. It’s time to put away the “excuses” and win this game. The Bye is so early this week that 2-1 will be a lot better 1-2. Especially since we are facing the Lions after the bye.

My final thoughts are that the Packers should win this game. I think it will be close early on but the Packers pull away from Cincinnati. Packers 24-17 Washington
