Packers running back Cedrick Benson left Lucas Oil Stadium with a boot on his left foot, but said he didn’t feel the injury was overly serious, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports. He said X-rays did not show any damage and that he would know more when tests were taken Monday.
He said he felt comfortable it wasn’t a serious injury such as a lisfranc sprain, which can linger for months.
“I was able to walk on it,” Benson said. “Guys who have had it usually can’t.” He said his foot was tender and a decision was made not to play anymore because the doctors didn’t want it to swell.
