2nd Quarter Recap Packers/Seahawks

My thought about the second quarter for the Packers: the only instance when it’s beneficial for your best player to be lying on their back for the majority of the time, is when you’re shooting a porno. Unfortunately, trying to score points on offense doesn’t fall into that category, so the Packers are in a serious heaping of trouble. Aaron Rodgers was sacked 5 more times during that quarter; giving the Seahawks 8 sacks in the first half. The only scoring play of the first half was a 41 yard pass play from Russell Wilson to Golden Tate on a beautiful over the top throw. Otherwise, more of the same for the Packers offense; garbage. The last time the Packers went scoreless in the first half was against the Chiefs during the only loss that they had during the 2011 campaign. The result is going to be the same tonight if the Packers don’t get more balanced on offense (15 official pass attempts to 4 rush attempts, I say official because there’s been 8 sacks), keep Aaron Rodgers off the turf, and protect over the top on defense.
