Packers Part Ways with DE Anthony Hargrove, Four Others

The Packers Friday night started to make roster cuts, with the first being DE Anthony Hargrove, who was facing an 8-game suspension for his role in the Saints bounty gate.

The 29-year-old denied the charges in the bounty gate scandal. Hargrove, with the Saints from 2009-2010, played last season with Seattle.

He was inked by the Pack on March 29th. He was suspended by the NFL on May 2nd.

The Packers on Friday also released wide receiver Andrew Brewer, safety Micah Pellerin, offensive tackle Herb Taylor and cornerback Dion Turner.
