A Winnebago County dive and rescue team searching the Fox River after reports of a man falling through the ice on Sunday have discovered a body that is believed to be Michael Philbin, the 21-year-old son of Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin.
Michael Philbin was reported missed on Sunday night.
Jason Wilde of ESPN Milwaukee reports that Packers players have been informed that the body discovered in Fox River is Philbin. Andrew Brandt of the National Football Post and ESPN has also confirmed that players were informed of the tragedy. Brandt is a former front office executive with the Packers.
