Packers Rookie OT Sherrod Done for Season with Broken Leg

Green Bay Packers first-round offensive tackle Derek Sherrod will miss the remainder of the season with a broken leg.

Sherrod was an injury replacement for right tackle Bryan Bulaga when Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Tamba Hali fell on him during the fourth quarter. The 32nd overall pick of the 2011 NFL Draft has appeared in just five games this season.

Bulaga, a 2010 first-round pick, is scheduled to undergo an MRI on left knee on Monday. The Packers have been playing without veteran Chad Clifton, who has missed the last nine games with hamstring and back injuries. Marshall Newhouse has been playing left tackle and T.J. Lang finished today’s 19-14 loss at right tackle.
