Packers TE Andrew Quarless out for season

On Monday, Packers head coach Mike McCarthy confirmed the worst.

Tight end Andrew Quarless is done for the season with a knee injury and will have surgery in the “upcoming weeks.”

McCarthy didn’t specify the exact injury, though severe ligament damage is likely.

As a result, the Packers will turn to Tom Crabtree and D.J. Williams to factor more in the ground game.
