Flynn Aspires Being A Full-Time Starter

With about one in four NFL teams finding themselves in either dire need of a quarterback or dependent on a rookie quarterback to play right away despite the possible absence of offseason team activities, the value of experienced NFL quarterbacks is higher than ever these days. Kevin Kolb is the name everyone throws around in this conversation, but what about Packers backup Matt Flynn?

The fourth-year pro also has just a year left on his contract and would cost a team much less. A solid Week 15 starting performance against the Patriots this past season put Flynn on the radar and drew attention for his potential in 2012. Flynn told Jason Wilde of ESPN Wisconsin that he loves it in Green Bay but also has aspirations of one day being a fulltime starter.
