Packers Worked Out Former West Point FB Collin Mooney Sunday

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports the Packers worked out former Army fullback Collin Mooney on Sunday, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.

The 5-foot-10, 246-pounder played in the 2008 East-West Shine all-star game for former Army coach Bobby Ross. Mooney has almost finished with his two-year service commitment and can be signed as a free agent by NFL teams once the lockout is over.

Mooney rushed for 1,339 yards as a senior, breaking Mike Mayweather’s single-season record.
