Players Write Back to Goodell About His Email

The NFL Players have written back to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and responding by saying ”Your statements are false.”

In a four-page letter Saturday posted on, players tell Goodell, “We start by reminding you that we were there at the negotiations and know the truth about what happened.” The letter is signed by the 11 members of the NFL Players Association’s executive committee.

“We believe these massive givebacks were not justified at all by the owners,” the letter reads.

Quit the bickering and name calling and get a deal done…calling the commisssioner a “liar” shows a lack of diplomacy and a lack of class. Your attorney is an overpaid putz. Sixteen regular season games is enough even for the most devoted NFL fans…I’d like to see two bye weeks for each team and a slight expansion of the practice squad. Also, rookie pay, especially for the first round needs to be capped and lowered…10% of everyone’s pay should go into a pension. Allow Warren Buffett to manage all the money.
