Rodgers Out for the Rest of the Lions Game with Concussion

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is done for the day according to reports after suffering a concussion in the teams game in Detroit at Ford Field against the Lions. Rodgers wasn’t having a big day as is – throwing for just 46 yards on 7-for-11 passing with a pick. He also ran the ball 2 times for 25 yards, and was the teams leading rusher as of half.

The team will now turn to Matt Flynn in the game, which at the half was tied 0-0. The Packers offense had managed just two first downs, and were outgained by the Lions 128 to 67.

Green bay has no depth at offensive line. The lions rush four and Rodgers has to run for his life. Thompson needs to replace more of those weak and penalty prone lineman.

He’s been ignoring it for years. The chickens are coming home to roost.

i dont know if we deserve a playoff, i dont think we deserve a wildcard at all, no heart, in coaching and staff and players. where is our leadership? i agree with my colleages no heart means no depth, bad weather coming no passing equals OUT HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS HAHAHAH SUCKS

Sorry guys, but it is nice to see you whining for a change. Yes, a ugly win. We have played much better, but a win is a win, especially being a Lionsfan. I will cheer for you guys next week, but it is not looking too good.

I am a true Packer fan at heart but my one dimensional team has taken a turn for the worst. PLAYOFFS…..are you kidding me! Packers can’t run the ball and the next three opponents have really good defenses. We will be lucky to win one out of the next three.

When Ryan Grant got hurt back in the beginning of the year the Packers should have spent some money on a running back. There were plenty of free agents out there. No Ted Thompson want to rely on the arm of Rogers. He is good but he’s not superman.

Bottom line, we needed the win against the lions for any hopes. Ted Thompson should fire McCarthy. Play calling against the lions was horrible. Who does the option on 3rd and one? Or calls deep pass on 4th and one with a back up quarter back. All they needed was a yard. How about a screen or a quick slant.

Sorry Packer Nation….there is always next year.

    Thompson
