The Milwaukee Journal-Constitution reports that TE Jermichael Finley is peeved about the hit he took from Louis Delmas:
Tight end Jermichael Finley left Ford Field with an unsatisfied feeling after the Green Bay Packers’ 34-12 victory over the Detroit Lions on Thursday but it didn’t have anything to do with getting only three catches, or the ball in the end zone that was deflected by the Lions. Finley wanted revenge for a vicious hit by Lions rookie Louis Delmas in the second quarter, but he never got it. “Oh yeah, no doubt it was,” Finley said when asked if Delmas’ hit was a dirty play. “Didn’t like it and I went up to him and told him, ‘Payback’s coming, for sure.’ That’s why I’m a little frustrated – why the hell I didn’t get him – to tell you the truth.” Delmas was flagged on the play, and Finley had the wind knocked out of him. “They threw the flag and hopefully he gets fined for that,” Finley said.
