Favre Watch: Fox Says “We Blew It!”

Guest writer jclombardi @ http://lombardiave.com

Jclombardi looks beyond Favreageddon to the 2009 NFL season.  Favre is MVP?

After the Vikings win in Favreageddon 2 and countering the anti-Favre public relations campaign by Packers management, Fox says that people missed the undisputed truth about the blood feud between Favre and Packers management:

Fox says," We Blew It."

Fox says," We Blew It."

In all the hoo-hah over Brett Favre’s much-hyped return to Green Bay, Whitlock says everyone missed the biggest Truth of all: It’s the Truth–Favre’s proving Thompson wrong.”

  1. Allen says:

    Dear Packer fans,

A couple of football facts: Well disciplined teams don’t make many penalties.
Good coaches use the players they have to the best of their ability. For instance if your offensive line can not protect your quarterback then throw screens, roll your quarterback left and right and give the quarterback a relif valve (back releasing to the flats) to throw the ball to when in trouble. We are being outcoached game after game. We don’t keep the defense on their heals and our defense is as conservative as you get.

I have heard over and over, yes we throw a couple of screens in a game once and awhile. To keep a defensive line honest you must make the defense think we do not make a defense think.
Our defense shows signs of being very good and then we fall asleep is this the players or the coaches? I say it is coaches and you need to get Dom Capers off his rear end in the box and move on down to the field and make his presence known.
Last but not least why do we have a speedster like Ahman Green returning kickoffs. Whe I saw him returing kickoffs my first thought was even when he was good none even considered him returing kickoffs due to his lack of speed.

The coaching staff needs to pull their heads out of their you know what to salvage this season.
