The Green Bay Press-Gazette says that former first-round pick Justin Harrell thinks he’ll be able to play again:
Conversations with five doctors, visits to at least two and new medication have Packers end Justin Harrell optimistic again — or at least speaking that way — about his chances for continuing his NFL career. The former first-round draft pick acknowledged last week he feared his playing days were over because of chronic back problems. But Harrell says he’s feeling better this week and, when asked whether he’ll play again, Harrell responded quickly, “Without a doubt.” “It’s one of them things I’m going to have to deal with as long as I play football, the back flaring up,” he said. “Hopefully, next time it happens, we’ll be more educated and it won’t take as long to get back out there.”
