Packers extend Jennings’ Contract Through 2012


Earlier today, Greg Jennings gave a vague statement about being “close” to a contract extension with the Packers.  It turns out that the two sides were much closer than anticipated.  According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Green Bay Packers will likely give the receiver about $9 million a season through 2012, making him one of the highest paid wide receivers in football.
