Safety Collins Skips Part of Voluntary Session

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Pro Bowl safety Nick Collins still may be an unhappy camper, and he skipped a recent workout with the club:

Packers Pro Bowl safety Nick Collins attended practice Wednesday but did not fully participate and it is not yet clear if his contract is still an issue. Collins was on the field for the voluntary workout and in the opinion of coach Mike McCarthy “went through the jog-through,” although Collins was watching with safeties coach Darren Perry and did not participate. Collins wasn’t available in the locker room for comment after the Packers concluded their fourth and final organized team activity practice open to the media.

McCarthy said Collins wasn’t injured; he just didn’t participate in the full practice. “He went through the jog-through, and then went with the rehab (group),” said McCarthy. “He obviously hasn’t been here, so we’ll see how the rehab workout went. I have not had a chance to visit with the trainers and see where Nick is. Once again, these segments are voluntary.”
