The NFL announces 2009 Preseason Opponents

Lambeau Field

The NFL released preseason schedules this week, another exciting sign that Packers football is right around the corner.

In their preseason opener, the Packers will host Cleveland in the 60th annual Upper Midwest Shrine Game. The game will raise money for Midwest Shrine’s support of burn centers and hospitals for crippled children.  In week two, they will host the Bills in the Bishop’s Charities Game.  Started by Vince Lombardi in 1961, this annual contest raises money for the Diocese of Green Bay.

Then the Pack will go on the road to play the Cardinals and the Titans.  They will travel to Arizona during week three, where they will face the defending NFC champions and then wrap up the preseason in Tennessee the following week.

Exact dates and times have not been set yet.
