Gregg Williams holds all the cards in determining which team gets his services. Both the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints are pursuing Williams, the former Jacksonville, Washington and Tennessee defensive coordinator and Buffalo head coach, to lead their defensive staffs. Both will have to wait awhile before hearing whether Williams will join them because he might have further options. Williams, it appears, is waiting to see whether Tennessee defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz is hired as head coach of the Detroit Lions. Schwartz interviewed with the Lions on Monday and is one of the leading candidates for the job. If Schwartz leaves, Williams would be a likely candidate to return to Tennessee.
