Packers Still Silent On Favre Rumors
Posted by Matt Loede on July 8th, 2008 in News
The Packers continue to remain silent about rumors that Brett Favre wants to reverse his decision to retire. The store broke several days ago on ESPN .com. Channel 4 reported Monday that Favre sent a text message to Packers general manager Ted Thompson on Saturday. Thompson’s reply to Favre was that he is on vacation and the two of them will have to talk later. The “Sports Illustrated” web site on Monday reported that Thompson has ignored calls from Favre’s agent James Cook. The article says Favre called Coach Mike McCarthy within the last couple of weeks and was told that Favre would put the Packers in a tough spot if he decides to play again.

The Packer mangelment is out of touch with any and all reality if they don’t get out the rose pedals. Not returnig phone calls? Mark Murphy harkens back to March’s retirement speech? The packers put in a new playbook for Aaron Rodgers, like the players can’t remember last year? Its about the Superbowl, Farve is only behind Brady and maybe Manning, at thirty freakin eight. Who do these clowns think they are running Farve out of town? Sure bench him if he sucks, but he don’t suck, its simple. Fire Thompson, Murphy, whomever, they are all incompetent, massive egoists, jelous or who knows, but they are just wrong. This is just wrong, the dumbist shit I have heard of in a long time. No logic here.
