I've been wearing a Favre jersey since the 1st grade. I've had a Favre poster over my bed since the 3rd grade. I guess you could say I'm kind of a Favre fan. However, Im not as blind as many of his followers. Putting off the inevitable for one more season won't do the Packers any good. Sure, whine about how with Rodgers under center they'll go 8 - 8 and miss the playoffs. They've done similar with Favre under center. Last time I checked, football was a team sport anyway. Can one 38 year-old man whose arm is no longer good enough to make up for his poor decision making really be the difference for the Pack? Doubt it. Let the old man sit and let the kid play. After all, he did go 25 for 26 or something against a previously undefeated USC team.. so he's not exactly a slouch. And for those of you who saw Rodgers play against Dallas, watch some early footage of Favre and tell me there aren't any similarities.

I MISS BRETT. No offense to Aaron, but the Packers and the NFL are more interesting with Brett than wnithout him.
If the Packers don't want him bring him back and trade him - there will be plenty of takers!

This is such a can of worms it's ridiculous. I won't go into any certain rant because I'm a total Brett Favre fan. The only reason I'm not sold on Glassjaw Rogers is because he hasn't proven a damn thing...he's shown he's capable of some spark and getting hurt EASILY. So turn over the reigns to him, he gets hurt in pre-season and then what? Some backup douche running the show and back to 8-8 and the Lindey Infante days of horrible Packer football. Favre's season was stellar, likely that of an MVP if it weren't for the ridiculous season Brady had. Can he do it again? I think so...does he throw too many damn interceptions? I think so. But we didn't blow it last year because of his pass - although that will linger with all of us forever - it was McCarthy's stupid gameplan and play calling that blew it - overlooking the worst player on the field - AL HARRIS. Lambeau is a holesome place for families to watch football. They will sell their tickets, but Favre has been the Packers for a long time, turning away from him just because they so-called "built" the team around Rogers? Give me a break. Favre's better, period. The fans want it, the team will be better with him and it's a great story. We may not see a perfect game out of him week in and week out, but at least his ass won't be on the bench injured like Rogers. But I'm a fan, according to Glassjaw perhaps maybe I should just "keep my mouth shut."
