Grant Says a Deal Should Be Done in “the Next Few Weeks”

It’s been awhile since there’s been an update on the Ryan Grant contract situation, but it looks as if now that we’re in the stretch run for training camp, things should heat up. Grant told Sporting News Radio the following about the contract on Monday: “I expect [it] to be absolutely done within the next few weeks.” That’s good news for the Pack, as they don’t need the first training camp without Brett Favre to also be marked with the holdout of their best running back on the roster. Bottom line, Grant should have a new deal locked up by the time camp starts in late July.
