RB Herron Stops Home Intruder
Posted by Matt Loede on June 4th, 2008 in News
A Packers running back thwarted a break-in at his home by slugging one of the intruders with a bed post. Noah Herron heard glass breaking in the lower level of his home on Friday night. When an intruder entered his bedroom, Herron struck the man with a post he’d unscrewed from his bed. A second suspect was arrested outside the home. Sheriff Dennis Kocken says the suspect that was hit is hospitalized and that Herron used necessary and justifiable force in protecting his life and property. Kocken says the incident was not made public until Tuesday due to the need to execute search warrants in the case.
