Former wide receiver Bill Schroeder has decided to retire a Green Bay Packer, the team announced Thursday.  Schroeder spent the first five seasons of his eight-year career in Green Bay, recording 225 catches for 3,435 yards and 20 touchdowns over 74 games.  He also spent time in Detroit for two seasons and Tampa Bay for one.  The Packers signed him to a one-day contract on Thursday, allowing him to officially retire as a Packer.
