Agent Says Forget About Favre Coming Back
Posted by Matt Loede on April 4th, 2008 filed in NewsBrett Favre’s agent says the legendary quarterback is not returning to the NFL. On Thursday, the “Los Angeles Times” reported that Favre’s agent, James “Bus” Cook, had spoken with other teams about acquiring him from the Green Bay Packers. However, Cook told ESPN the report is “absolutely false”. Favre’s rights still belong to the Packers, and the future Hall of Famer hasn’t given his written notice of retirement to the NFL, or the players’ union.

A big part of me wishes he would come back…but then again, I’m glad he went out on top. I’m gonna miss him though.

I just wish he had told us he was quitting at the beginning of what would be his last season so we could have all been more prepared. Everyone thought he was coming back since he seemed so happy to be playing and stated,”maybe we’ll be 14 and 2 next year?
I feel let down and hurt, sorry Brett, it was about all of us too!
Disappointed in Nixa,
