Farve Fest 2008 Coming to Chicago
Posted by Matt Loede on April 2nd, 2008 filed in FeaturesThanks to Bob Tuytens for the Following:
Favre Fest 2008 at Will’s Northwoods Inn in Chicago Il - It’s time to celebrate and honor the career of our favorite (or favre-orite) legendary quarterback, Brett Favre. We’re going to do it up right - Will’s style! We’ll have free hot-dogs, burgers, brats, cheese and sausage trays, complete with cheese curds, and plenty of give-aways during our free “half-time” raffle. We’ll also serve our usual gameday beer specials including $9 pitchers and $5 32-once cups of Lite and Leinenkugel drafts. AND, we will be showing “Favre 4 Ever” and “Superbowl XXXI” on all of our TVs! We’re also going to unvail the huge framed photo that we took in the bier garten with Frank Winters back on December 30th! This will be an all day celebration, but festivities will officially get rolling around 2pm. Thanks Brett! Apering will be Annette Summersett.

Farve Fest would not be complete without 100% All Natural Premium Cheddar Cheese Curds from the “Cheese Curd Capital of Wisconsin”!
Ellsworth Creamery was proclaimed the “Cheese Curd Capital of Wisconsin” by the Governor of Wisconsin. Their cheddar cheese curds are that great!
They sold 104,000 pounds of their cheese curds to a local state fair last year and have been selling their cheese curds to State Fairs for over a decade. They also sell pre-portioned packages of already breaded cheese curds to Miller Park for their Milwaukee Brewer games. Also they are in 1400 A&W Restaurants nationwide. The list goes on as they have been in business for almost 100 years! Check out their web site and give them a call:

It’s Sunday April 6th. I will make sure to order from Ellsworth Creamery. What would FavreFest be without the curds from the “Cheese Curd Capital of Wisconsin”!
