Packers Show Interest In Veteran Quarterback

In the wake of Brett Favre’s departure, the Packers have shown some interest in another veteran quarterback.  The team contacted Trent Green of the Kansas City Chief’s in recent days, according to Green’s agent.  Green is expected to speak with the team today, and may set up a visit.  Green will be 38, the same age as Brett Favre, by the time training camp starts. It’s believed that he would help smooth the transition from Favre to Aaron Rodgers.
