Chmura Weighs In On Favre Retirement

Former Packers tight end Mark Chmura says he’s not surprised by Brett Favre’s decision to retire.  Appearing on 540 ESPN Radio in Milwaukee, Chmura says the rigors of an NFL season finally just wore his former teammate down.  He added that he has a lot of respect for Favre’s decision to step away from the game, and fans must find a way to get ready for a new era of Packer football.  Chmura played with the Pack from 1993 to 1999, and was a member of the Super Bowl 31 championship team.
