Father, Child Clash Over Packer Jersey

A Portage father who clashed with his seven-year-old son over a Packer jersey found himself behind bars this week.  Police say the 36-year-old man allegedly tied his son up with tape after the boy refused to wear a Packer jersey during the game on Saturday.  The father is also accused of taping the jersey onto the boy’s body during the game.  The boy’s mother reported the incident Monday, and she had cell phone photographs to prove it.  The man was arrested and taken to the Columbia County Jail.  He was released yesterday after paying a 186-dollar fine.  His wife has requested a restraining order to keep the overzealous Packer fan away from his family.

That’s it, taking sports too far! Fanhood doesn’t pertain to submission or violence. Darn Texas A&M kids are just the same, sad sad sad!
