Packers GM Signs New Contract

Looks like Packers GM Ted Thompson will be sticking around for a while.  Thompson signed a new 5-year-contract through 2012.  Thompson has been the team’s GM for the last three years.  Out of the 53 players on the team right now, Thompson picked up 40 of them.  Thompson says he’s humbled and thankful to be able to stay with the team for the next five years.
