Giants Still Feeling Effects Of Lambeau Chill

The Giants are in Phoenix, trying to shake off the illness that has struck the team since they beat the Packers at Lambeau Field.  Several players have been struck with flu-like symptoms. Some have missed practices because they were running high fevers.

Pack Signs Two to Future Contracts

Favre Says “No Thanks” to the Pro Bowl

Brett Favre has decided to skip the Pro Bowl. No reason has been given for Favre’s decision not to take part in the February 10th exhibition game in Honolulu. McCarthy Meets With Favre

Coach Mike McCarthy says he had a lengthy meeting with Brett Favre this week before Favre headed home to Mississippi.  He says he expects Favre to make a decision in the next seven to ten days whether he will  be back for an 18th season in Green Bay.   

Clifton Added To Pro Bowl Roster

Packers left tackle Chad Clifton has been added to the NFC Pro Bowl roster.  He replaces Seattle Seahawks tackle Walter Jones.  The 6-foot-5 Clifton just finished his eighth season with the Packers and will be making his first trip to the Pro Bowl.  He was a Pro Bowl alternate in 2004 and 2005.  The 34-year-old [...]
