First String Packers May See Reduced Time Sunday

Coach Mike McCarthy says his first string players may see limited playing time against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.  McCarthy says he will prepare everyone to play, and then decide how long the starters will play at the end of the week.  He said winning against Detroit is not as important as having his players at full strength for a playoff game in two weeks. The Packers have nothing to gain or lose in the regular season finale.  The Pack is locked in as the number two seed in the playoffs, and will play at home January 12th or 13th in the divisional round no matter who wins on Sunday.
