Packers Getting Set to Wrap Regular Season Against Detroit

Posted by Matt Loede on December 26th, 2007 filed in News

The Packers play their final regular-season game Sunday, hosting the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field.  The Lions haven’t won in Wisconsin since 1991.  They lost a Thanksgiving Day game to Green Bay  37-26.  By virtue of Green Bay’s loss at Chicago and Dallas’ win at Carolina, the Packers can finish no better than tied with the Cowboys at 13-3. Because of the Nov. 29 loss at Texas Stadium, the Packers are assured of the No. 2 seed in the NFC Playoffs.  Green Bay will host a Divisional Playoff the weekend of Jan. 12-13, with an exact date and time still to be determined.
