The Packers board of directors is expected to vote today on a replacement for Bob Harlan. The 45-member board is expected to approve the nomination of Mark Murphy as the team’s next CEO. Murphy is the athletic director at Northwestern University. He emerged as the top candidate for the job after a nationwide search. Murphy has the support of outgoing team president Bob Harlan, but some members of the board are expected to vote against him. Some have expressed concern that Murphy has no NFL experience, except as a player for the Washington Redskins.
