On Saturday the Green Bay Packers signed quarterback Craig Nall to provide some depth behind injured Brett Favre and backup Aaron Rodgers. Nall, a 5th-round pick from Northwestern State in 2002 by Green Bay, spent his first 4 seasons with the Packers before signing with Buffalo in 2006 and spending time with the Billa and Houston this season.
The Packers decided to sign Nall after initially joining a number of teams in the league that carried just 2 quarterbacks on their 53-man roster. Green Bay released safety Marviel Underwood in order to make roon for Nall.
