Favre Hurt In Second Quarter With Elbow Injury

In the second quarter, the team also lost quarterback Brett Favre after he got hit hard by the Cowboys’ Nathan Jones. Favre was out for the rest of the game with an injured nerve in his right elbow. He threw two interceptions before the injury and was 5-of-14 for 56 yards. Favre sat the rest of the game on the sidelines, and left the field shortly before the fourth-quarter clock ran out. It’s still not clear if he will start against the Oakland Raiders a week from Sunday, but Favre says he hopes to play.
