Favre sets TD mark

As was expected, Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre broke the NFL touchdown pass record, formerly held by former Dolphins QB Dan Marino, during the first quarter of the Green Bay-Minnesota game. The milestone occurred when Favre hit wide receiver Greg Jennings with a slant pass for the score at the 4:56 mark of the 1st quarter.
The touchdown gives Favre, barring any additional TD passes, 421 for his career. Favre going into today’s game needs only 12 pass attempts to surpass Marino, and is within reach of total passing yards, also held by Marino.
