Time May Be Running Out For Packers’ Hodge
Posted by Matt Loede on August 28th, 2007 filed in NewsPackers backup middle linebacker Abdul Hodge may be out for the season as he continues to struggle with tendinitis in both knees. Hodge has been struggling with the pain for two years and may need surgery. He intends to fly to New York tomorrow for a second opinion. If Hodge isn’t placed on injured reserve, he’ll probably be waived Saturday in favor of Desmond Bishop. Going on injured reserve might give Hodge a chance to make a comeback next year. The Packers have also placed rookie fullback Ryan Powdrell on injured reserve.
